Laura and her family enjoy your pet's company and share their home (and sofa!) in Swinstead. You can relax knowing that your pet is well cared for in a loving, family environment during your absence. Waggy Tailz does not use host families, all our Home Boarders will stay with us in Swinstead. Your pet will have the free run of the house and gardens (about 1/3 acre) - no cages or crates here! Their daily routines are followed as closely as possible.

Home Boarding is ideal on so many different levels; nervous or older dogs who prefer the comforts of a loving home, pups to encourage socialisation and prevent regression of their house training or those family members who need lots of attention and loving!
Generally eliminating the stress related to a stay at boarding kennels for both you and your pet.

All you need to bring is a favourite blanket or bed, leads and/or harnesses and an adequte supply of their regular food (to avoid tummy upsets!) and we supply the TLC and treats.

Visiting Friends? Out for the Day? Weekends Away? Vacation?
Laura can pop into your home during the day for 20 minutes and spend the time feeding, letting out, emptying litter trays, topping up water bowls or just for the cuddles. She can also water the plants, draw curtains or collect post, whatever you require her to do.
Ideal for smaller animals (cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters) or older dogs and pups who need regular access to the garden.
Laura can visit as often during the day as you require (at least twice is recommended for dogs and cats) and each time she will leave an activity report to let you know how the visit went.

We strongly recommend that you arrange a convenient time to meet Laura and see her home in Swinstead before making a decision. At this meeting, a questionnaire will be completed to meet the needs of you and your pet.
We do require that all guests are fully vaccinated (confirmation of annual boosters and intranasal kennel cough from your vet please). We also require that your pet is neutered or spayed and given flea control treatment (as required) together with full medical histories. Your pet's health is our primary concern.
